Van Hecke Arabians

Van Hecke Arabians is located between Belgium’s most beautiful medieval harbour towns of Ghent and Bruges.

Involved in horse-breeding since 1990 with original Tyrolean Haflinger-horses and purebred Arabians, we now have a nice collection of Straight Egyptian mares, stallions and young stock.

Our breeding program is based on Ansata and Ansata-related bloodstock and original E.A.O. – El Zahraa bloodlines, specially from the Saqluawi Gidran Ibn Sudan strain with its famous Moniet El Nefous family.

Our goal is to breed the Arabian horse as it was selected by the Bedouin tribes, and to conserve the typical character.
