About Ameena 'A'
Ameena 'A' was born in 1996 at Assadik Arabians in Belgium. She was the first filly of Ansata Layla with the liver chestnut multiple champion stallion Ibn Barrada EAO, a Koheilan Krush, now standing at Flaxman Arabians in Belgium. Ameena's dame, Ansata Layla, needs no introduction concerning her pedigree: the Ansata prefix (Key of Life) is the ultimate guarantee for the best Straight Egyptian bloodlines. Mrs Judith Forbis combined the refining blood of the Bentwood-bred stallion Prince Fa Moniet (The Egypian Prince X Fa Moniet) with the Ansata Ibn Halima - daughter Ansata Raqessa (out of Ansata Regina, a nice broodmare by Ansata El Wazir and also the mother of Ansata Athena, who was owned by Mr. Paolo Gucci)
Ameena's father, Ibn Barrada by Gad Allah out of Barrada by Iknatoon, was bred at the national Arabian Horse stud of Egypt, the Egyptian Agricultural Oranisation studfarm El Zaahra, located in Heliopolis in the outskirts of the metropole Caïro.
Ameena 'A' is the perfect combination of the authentic EAO - bloodlines and the world leading Ansata breeding program.
Ameena is in foal to our chestnut stallion Shamal.
