About Halisa
Halisa, which means ‘Who will remain’ in Arabic, is a Saqlawi Gidran Ibn Sudan mare out of the Moniet El Nefous family. She was bred by W. Bijnens in Belgium. Her mother, CD Andala, is a tall chesnut breeding mare sired by the multiple champion Ibn Barrada EAO. The mother of CD Andala was the grey Adora (by Mowaffac), tracing back to Andeera – Manaya – Moniet el Nefous. The father of Halisa was the Egyptian import stallion Ibn Mourad EAO. Ibn Mourad, by Mourad, was a grandson of Mabrouka, the beautiful Moniet el Nefous daugther. In the dam line Ibn Mourad is a Koheilan Rodania. This year, Halisa is in foal to our young Jordanian stallion Maaher JO, a son of Ansata Safeer (Ansata Hejazi X Ansata Samsara by Prince fa Moniet) wich we imported from the privat royal stables of HRH Princes Zein al Houssein en M. Al Sahle. This breeding is a powerfull combination of the autentic EAO-lines with the refinned Ansata’s!
We are expecting Halisa’s baby at the end of May.
