About Maaher
Maaher is our Crown Prince!
He is the result of world wide – breeding by concerned and dedicated breeders for several decades. Bringing together the most prestigious and demanded names of Egyptian top-breeding, his pedigree reads as a poem.
Maaher was imported by Van Hecke Arabians in 2004 from the private royal stables of HRH Princess Zein Al Hussein, the Royal Jafaar Stud in Amman, Jordan.
His father, Ansata Safeer, is a son of the world-wide renowned sire Ansata Hejazi (by Ansata Halim Shah) out of Ansata Samsara, a Prince fa Moniet daughter out of the beautiful and well known Ansata Samantha. Ansata Safeer was used very selected by the Royal Jafaar Stud.
The mother of Maaher, is the elegant Alidaar daughter Classic Madaraa.
Willi and Ursula Poth have bred this grey mare in their stud in the Provence out of the top-breeding dam U.P. Bint Mahra by Malik.
As you can see, Maaher is the combination of different S.E. breeding : US-Ansata and Alidaar blood, French/German lines from Classic Arabians and German breeding of the dam-line. His parents are now owned by Sheik Kaled El Bagedo of the El Kaled Stud in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Obeyan Om El Grees stallion Maaher is the ultimate combination of the best pedigree and type.
